ASEG-PESA Conference and Exhibition, 2015

The Terrex Group recently exhibited at the 2015 ASEG-PESA hosted 24th International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition in Perth.  The Exhibition was a great opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces and to meet new contacts interested in our latest seismic activities and services.

Visitors of the Exhibition got the opportunity to look through Terrex's custom-made working Nodal Harvester on display.

Terrex has brought truly cable-less acquisition to Australia's onshore exploration.  The FairfieldNodal Zland cable-free system utilises a single point self-contained high sensitivity sensor that runs autonomously without the need for a wireless network, external batteries or separate data recorder.

The portability of the ZNodal cable-less system has significant benefits for use in "hand carry" area or those areas with limited vehicular access compared to traditional cable-based acquisition systems.

Terrex also hosted a Seismic Soirée at the Old Brewery, located at the historic Swan Brewery site on the banks of the Swan River.  Details of the event can be found in the Events section of the website.

Congratulation to the winners of the golf and wine themed business card draw.  First prize went to Luke Gardiner from Beach Energy for winning a set of Aston Martin golf clubs.  Second and third prize winners were Muhammad Shafiq from Schlumberger Australia Pty Ltd and Dr Maxim Lebedev from Curtin University - Department of Exploration Geophysics, who won some award-winning wine from the Aravina Estate, Margaret River.
